  Originally Filmore He Sailed from London in January 1820 aboard the Brilliant and reached Tab le Bay in April. They ariived in Algoa Bay in May after calling at Simon 's Town. He is reported to have been a member of Gush's party but "Sto ry of the 1820 Settlers makes no mention of that group.
