Is a connection of the Marquis of Ormonde, and a niece of late Sir Thomas Butler of Ballin Temple, Co.Carlow. Name is recorded in Peerage, and the crest is used as the badge of her School of Variety and Dancing in Durban. Certificated at an early age for drawing, painting, elocution and dancing. Went on stage with South African Theatres at fifteen years of age; attained position of principal dancer, and later took up teaching. Married, but obtained a divorce in 1930. Then established herself as a teacher of dancing. Remade her name with "Pasquali & Borlandau," acrobatic dancers. Among her pupils are Baby Bruneau, the child variety artist, and the Butler Sisters who were the first tap dancers to be broadcast in Durban. Miss Butler herself is also well-known as a comedienne, and has done a great deal in Durban for Charity
